Texas flooding

A seventh American Red Cross volunteer from New York deployed Thursday in order to help those in need in Texas. Steve Hatfield of Whitehall from the Northeastern New York Chapter has courageously stepped up and volunteered his service to those in Texas. These volunteers are helping out in anyway they can, from external relations, to staff planning, to sheltering and client services. It’s always great when people from all over the country band together to help out one common cause. A woman from the Mohawk Valley Chapter is volunteering in Oklahoma as the Red Cross responds to the severe weather in that area.
